Hand-Woven and Resilient
Balochi or Baluch Kilims are traditional tribal rugs that are made in the wider area of Baluchistan on the west of Pakistan and bordering with Afghanistan. Balochi Soumak handwoven wool rug kilims often present geometric motifs and tribal designs. These are embroidered to present a gift on special events like marriages. Initially, they were made for the use in nomadic tribes inside the tribal tents. All of the vintage handwoven wool rug has been restored by craftsmen. Wear and tear from past gives a unique look. These rugs can be used at entrance or can be used in smaller spaces; they would fit very nicely in a traditional or minimalistic settings.
